Some of you might guess how we will name our litters and kittens:
From James Bond movies. We'll name litters in the same order,
that Bond movies were made.
Thunderball was the first Bond movie that has original script.
Meaning that the Ian Fleming wrote first the script and after that he made a
book based on the script.
But the book was published first and movie came after that. This caused some
mixup with the rights for the
film and for the book. There were couple of law suits and all kind of hasle
related to script and it's filming rights,
which caused some interesting side effects.
Did you know that "Never say Never again" is actually a remake of the
Thunderball.
Now that Sony bought MGM and it owns all rights to the script maybe that
disbute is now over...
BTW: This is first movie where Sean Connery performs gun barrel sequence.
Emilio Largo is the main villain in the movie. Well he is nr.2 in
S.P.E.C.T.R.E. but Nr.1 (Ernst Stavro Blofeld) is seen
only short time in the movie. Largo does not have fine castle or space station
for Bond to blow up but
instead he has this cool boat "Disco Volante" that splits in two.
Dominique Derval (also called as Domino) is this movies "Bond girl".
She joines the forces with Bond
and finally in the end of movie kills Largo. In the Book she's been brutally
tortured by Largo but in the Film
Largo is too busy to torture Domino ;-)
